I spoke to Ben Thompson yesterday (9/9). He is the manager of the Guesthouse Motel in Camden, Tn. He told me that the Camden area was getting some of Katrina's evacuees, and there was a shortage of rooms, due to the MG shoot. I told him that I would post a request for people to consider giving up their rooms for the shoot weekend (9/16-9/18).

I had two rooms, and gave up a couple of days on one. He said that he had a lot of singles booked, and wanted to know if people would consider, since we're familiar with each other, pairing up/consolidating down to free up rooms.

Guys (and gals), this is something important we should consider. There are hundreds of thousands of folks without homes, or are not being allowed to return there. Mr. Thompson has said that he would be the point of contact to pair folks up. His number is 1-731-584-2222.
