Come one come all to the next FOP shoot! I would like to have a shoot / barbeque as we did the first couple of times we got together. It was just too damn hot to cook this summer but by mid october It should be fine. I will bring my grill and grill cheeseburgers/baked beans and maybe some hotdogs. I'll pick up some sodas as well.
I am open to suggestions for things to do at the shoot. Last time we had a bunch of folks shooting scenarios on the tac range and that was cool. Let me know if you want to do that again as well as any other games/contests you can think of. Lets get a roll call going. Its only a month away! LWC  + MsLWC

It'll be at the FOP Range in Pleasant Grove Alabama, just outside of B'ham. I don't have an AR anymore, but I'm going to try and make this one anyway. Maybe my son-in-law will allow me to "borrow" my old one back for a few hours. |

I have my Family Reunion that weekend! I'm beginning to think y'all plan these things knowing I cant make it!  Have fun, I'll be right down the road in Enterprise, AL. We have recently moved our FR from Level Plains for a larger facility. I'll be there in spirit. |

There is going to be a "practical shotgun match" for anyone interested. The range is hosting this match. The fee is $15 but I think that covers your range fee also (so its only $5 extra) I think..
We will try to have a IDPA style match on the tactical range, but there is not a Carbine match scheduled for that day. Anyone have any suggestions, Food or otherwise? |

I work for a food distributor and can get bulk food at my employee price - burgers, hot dogs, chicken, steaks, potato salad, BBQ, etc. Whoever is setting up email me if you are interested.

"headset on" yea that'll be one burger and liter of coke for BRF, and its for a cop "headset off" I usually charge 2-3 bucks for lunch. just enough to cover the food. usually a hamburger and a hotdog + sides and a drink. there is always extra food to be eaten |

I have talked with another member here and it looks like we are having STEAKS for lunch as well as good sides.
This is gonna rock. I think the food will be about $4 -5 per person for everything. I will ask for donations when we eat. If there is anyone who cant afford it, obviously they dont have to pay. Usually just leave a jar and everyone kicks in. I will know how much the food costs in a few days and will only accept enough to cover the cost of the food. I dont think there will be any camping at TBS house as he's been working (believe it or not) pretty hard lately. He told me not this time. LWC |

Steaks, wow!! Now i wish there wasn't a scout campout for my sons pack that weekend. Damn my luck  Oh well hopefully I can make the next one whenever that one will be. Just eat a steak and shoot off a couple hundred rounds for me.
