For those that may be interested, I, along with the state of Alabama will be presenting a free youth firearms safety day on 16 August. The event will be held at the Swan Creek shooting range in Limestone County. The program will begin at 10:00AM and end at 2:00PM, lunch will be served to all that attend. All youngsters, age 16 and under are welcome to attend and participate. There is a limit of 60 participants so preregisration is strongly suggested, however there will be sign up the day of the event. This is NOT a hunter safety program, it is basic firearms safety for young folks. Guns will be provided at no cost as well as ammunition.
