I may be reading this wrong, but it looks to me like the minute you sit down in a vehicle, you have to be licensed and have the handgun concealed.

This is an opinion and is almost 20 years old.  Has another opinion been issued by the AG since then?

no i don't plan on routine open carry. Most was interested n it for trips to the range when i have my 1911 straped to my belt. Ie.. stopping at the gas station etc...As i have my ccw inside the car is a non issue.

this is the one and only opinion they have issued on this.
