It's supposed to be right on Route 30, about 3 miles or so west of I-65. It should be very easy to get to.
I have never been to this one, but the guys at my local gun shop are excited about it. They are saying it's a "good show". Approx 100 tables, and the majority of it is guns. Less people here selling the snacks, toys, clothes etc. For anyone that comes up this way for the show, may I suggest stopping at Beggars Pizza on Broadway in Crown Point on your way home? IMO it is the best pizza around. (No, I don't work there, I just like it  )

Yep, the Crown point show is just another 6 or 7 miles away If I remember right, I went to both of them last time around.

Wow nice. I've been to the Crown Point show, but I did not hear that it was coming up this weekend. I'll have to check them both out..
Seems like terrible timing. Two gun shows within 10 miles of eachother on the same days? I wonder who planned these dates. |

Is it smaller than Crown Point? I always go to that show.
I'll probably hit that one up if the Merrillville one is smaller.... Anyone want my NIB M&P???!??! See you there! PS Beggar's Pizza is good. |

Went to the Mer show last year. It was about 25 tables. Crown Point is more like 100+ tables.

i went there this morning. Yup, it basically sucked. I didn't see any ammo or guns that I was interested in. There was a MAK-90 with a fiberforce stock set for $325 or $329. It might have been a good buy for a guy who needs a MAK-90. I'd imagine he'd probably take 300 seeing as how nothing was selling.

I believe that this table was the first table in the second row, facing north. He had a bunch of rifles, only 2 or 3 of them were AK's. It will not be hard to find him if you go there.. the show is a lot smaller than I imagined it would be.

Then drive up here tomorrow and pick it up. Beware though, at this time, the roads are pretty icy up here. Hopefully it will be better by morning.
remember, this one has the goofy black plastic fiberforce crap stock on it. If it was wood, I may have bought it too. (even though I don't need it)  |

No good deal that I saw at the Merrillville show aside from the MAK.
I was on my way to the CP show and they closed down main street that runs right into the CP square. Digging a hole in the street for somthing. I took that as a sign I shouldn't go to the CP show, and just went home. |

I've got 4 sets of mak90 furniture, if it wasn't such a long drive(bloomington here) I would go get it!!

CP wasnt a bad show. That hole on main street was just a small detour. Took 5 min to get around.

Nope just cannot do it, lost my job recently and I've already got 5 mak90s. Wife would KILL ME sir!!!!!
I think mr. ILAK has come to his senses and decided to buy another AK He's going to buy it, I'm NOT going to sleep on my couch and I'm going to hook him up with a stockset

If anyone else on here wants the MAK, please just say so. I have to back to the show in the morning, and I figured I'd buy it just for the hell of it. (good price).
I do not need this gun, so if anyone else wants it, please go get it and just say on here that you're coming for it, so I don't snatch it up... You won't hurt my feelings! |

Went to the CP show today and stayed for a couple hours. Walked out with a CRKT tacticool looking knife with sheath. And I also picked up a trijicon clone. Its an ACOG shell with x3 magnification and bullet drop indicator deal. I picked it up for 200 and I have to say Im really impressed so far. Very sturdy comes with mount and a lifetime no B/S warranty. Ill get to the range when the ice rink melts. Which is also the reason I didnt go to the Merriville show ill try to stop by tomorrow. Im bringing my Kimber back to CP tomorrow for a hopeful trade for a desert warrior.
