I live in northwest indiana and was wondering if anyone could tell me where I could shoot outside of ranges. Im trying to see if I can get some farmer to let me shoot on his land for a fee and clean up of course. Im just sick of going to the range and shooting paper all the time, some fruit or cans would be great. Jasper palaski used to let you now I dont belive you can, hug.gif any help would be great thanks.

Nope,
Nothing at JP xcept paper.
Official Range Nazi Policy.
No tracers, Full autos, or "rapid fire" either.
But man, did he go nuts when that belt fed 1919 semi show up. . . .

Best trip out there was when the range person didn't show up till noon.  Went through alot of ammo really fast that morning.  Krazny will attest.  Regulation once again screwing stuff up.

Go to the NRA web site, look up Jefferson Township rifle and Pistol club (Jim Reinholt owns it).  West of Winimac.  Best place to shoot in NW indiana in my opinion.  Private club, you must be an NRA member.  Steel plates, moving targets, shotgun pit, 200 yard rifle range, skeet/trap.

If you are within 2 hours of it, worth the drive at least twice a year.  Just a thought.
