Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Anyone a reserve or volunteer officer or deputy?

I am moving to Greenwood at the end of this year and I am interested in becoming a reserve/volunteer LEO.  Just wondering if there was any tips or areas I should start looking at.  Thanks!

I'm working at it here in Orange county, doing some ride alongs now while waiting too see if i am going to go back to the big sandbox.  The ride alongs help by gettting you familiar with the area and people among other things. Try the Bothers of the shield forum  here for more info.
