A lot of people are still suffering sticker shock at the large price increases lately, and it really IS hard to tell how long prices will remain inflated. Other than Mini-Mags for $5 or $6/100, I don't think I ever paid more than $19/500 for .22s.Things have changed and I've seen 500 round bricks sell for $30-35 around town lately and it's still hard to believe.
