Just got an email as I'm sure you all did.

Camp Perry sale. Almost everything is 20% off.

Can you say lowers for $80 bucks. Waiting for some info from Walt.

Sweet

Edit to add:

Anybody interested in getting a few more lowers.

I talked to Walt and got a very good deal. Not $80 but better than 20% off. I'm in for maybe another 3 for future builds.

What's this about $80 lowers? I just looked at the sight and their lowers are still listed at $149.

We'd need a serious (and fast) "group buy" to get to $80 . . .

A =

The Camp Perry Sale is ON!!!
20% Off 'Most Everything!

B =

Included are all parts and acessories that don't take batteries,
plus Stripped FAR-15 Lowers and Stripped Fulton Armory M14 Receivers
Sale Ends Midnight EDT, 10 August 2005

C =

149.95

So: A x C = 119.96 (119.96 x 5% tax = $125.96, or, roughly the same price we paid apiece last group buy.)

UNLESS:

Quantity discounts available
(Such as another GB, but he's already offering a pretty big discount (from the regular price, anyway))

Well . . . . Mr. BRONZ??

Guess I could speak for at least one (and maybe line up a second buyer) if we can save anything more and we can possibly consolidate our feces by 10Aug (today = 3rd). I can already see the scheduling nightmare and bewildered confusion . . . trying to get in to do paperwork on the one Friday between now and then . . . .

IMs inbound everybody

Last year $125 was good I thought but I got a better deal for us this year.

Anybody else interested let me know. I'll tell you what the super secret knock is to get in at FA's door.

Be advised. NO walk-ins this Friday. Next Friday 8-12 is the day. Unless you work something out with Andy. It's so sweet that she is back.

Is there special pricing on the M14-type receivers also, or just a straight 20% off?

20% off one of those might be too good to pass up...

Alright, I'm confused. Are the stripped lowers included in the discount or does the ad say they are included in the exclusion?

Hey BRONZ . . . Thanks!

I saw your PM and responded. Forget my question about "Which Friday", since I got my PM before I arrived at this thread.

Colesteel, the stripped FAR-15 lower IS included in the sale discount to the general public, at an approximate final price of $125.96, per the math I have above + MSP, BUT, see BRONZ for "the  rest of the story". . .

If anyone has details on a special deal on the M14 receivers, I'd appreciate a PM.  I'm thinking about ordering one and picking it up when I'm home in MD next month on leave; save on the cost and FFL/shipping fees.  Thanks!

Just got off the phone with Andy.
Hey BRONZ, BTW, she said you were a real nice guy.

She asked me to call Friday morning and check in before coming down. I mentioned that it was posted that we should plan to come down between 8 and 12, assumably to miss the regular retail customers,  but she said "Noooooo . . . ", she didn't want anyone to come early (before regular hours start at 1pm).

Call first.

That would be just to good.

Called in my order today. Told Andy I would be in on Friday to pick the parts and start paperwork on a few more lowers.

They called here too, while I was out of the office this afternoon, called them back, got the machine, "tag, they're 'it' - I guess that's what they wanted to tell me. Boy, wouldn't I be surprised . . .

well I ended up only getting a LPK for my first FA lower - I do hope they do this again.

Figured I oughta finish that one first.  Now I've gotta decide if it's going to be my 20" AR or a pink/purple carbine for the ladies of the house.

I did not receive a call. Was told when I arrived. I did get  to do my paperwork, she (Andy) was OK with me being there. I did get to pick up my internet order, minus the barrel because no one was there who knew about which one was right. That's OK because I have to go back and pick up my receiver(s) anyway.
Bronze: Now I know who is Andy is and who Cindy is. I was corn-fuzed.
I hope they DON'T have another sale for a while. I was still adding things to my order on Wednesday.

Called them a few minutes ago.

Asked for Andy, got Wendy.

After some consultation in the background, Wendy said that it "would be OK"  if I came down this afternoon after 1PM,
BUT,
it would be much better if I called tomorrow morning and arranged to come down tomorrow.

I'm going to reschedule (again) and am now planning to go tomorrow, when I hope they'll in the mood. I want to be fully cooperative, no sense making an involved, already extremely difficult and very challenging project nearly impossible by filling out a form and trying to give them money today . . .

So, Call First

Well . . . . Called today, asked for Andy, got Cindy. Cindy said to come on down. Made it down there and did the paperwork this afternoon.

Just a waiting game now, they have to come in, she said the paperwork probably wouldn't go to MSP till next week. That's fine, as long as my part is done.

Why don't they just fax it in?

TheRealSundance, they don't have the parts in hand yet, they have to have the S/N's to complete and send the applications out, hence the "next week".

Hey BRONZ, Thanks again for getting this GB together!!
Heckuva deal and the last lower I got from them went together very smoothly.
