I can't remember where you are out there, But saw the white areas on the weather the other day. I figured we should get one more shoot in before the hunters start going up. Plus I'll be moving back to PA in November. |

What range are you all considering going to? I live 4 miles north of the MD border...I might drag myself out to a shoot if it isn't too far, and the range was black-gun friendly.

Elk Neck? I can't make it the weekend of the 10th (be in Virginia) or the 17th (Gunstock), but can do the first or last weekends. Lotsa help, aren't I?

Sorry guys, I wont be able to make it on the 10th, I'm spending the 4-day (
 ) weekend down at my parents' place so I can use Dad's shop to properly mount the Super Sniper 10x42 on my new 700P, my cousin can school me in the Army way of shooting a precision rifle and I can go drinking with my just-turned-21 little brother. Kharn |

There isnt any membership needed at Elk Neck is there? Also, would it be ok with you guys if I bring a buddy who isnt a board member to the shoot? I'm trying to get him into the mix again with guns.

Sunday the 10th. Hell Im in. Damn I have a problem though, how can I decide what guns to bring!
So many choices. I think Ill pack it light. The AR and maybe the1919. If I can get the prototype together Ill bring that. Well I'm halfway there....Crashing at my girlfriends in Catonsville outside of Baltimore. Jesus this place is far away but its worth the trip to get to shoot some with people. See you tomorrow at noon. Oh yeah, any good places for food near the range? Cause I'm gonna be starving as hell after shooting ;)

There's McDonald's at 272 and 40 (I think its 40?), on the north-bound side of 272. My buddies and I always stop in for a bite when we're leaving, since we usually meet late Sunday afternoons.

I would like to thank everyone who came out for the shoot. I had a great time. My heart has finally returned to its normal beat after suffering from fibulation due to the thunderous report of that damn 50 cal.(has anyone seen my stuff, oh there it is on the other side of the range. If you were there you would understand) Damn muzzle blast. I think I shot everyone elses gun more than my own, it was a treat, Thanks again.
Next time Ill bring the 1919 and a few other toys. Maybe the range nazis wont be there LOL Sundance, I'd have your back if you bitch slapped that prick. Any way, It was awesome. I feel the urge to do it again. before it starts to get real cold. You didnt just lock your keys in the trunk! Doh! Hope to see yall soon, Thanks again. Sean

Hey its LtJoeAnderson here with my new screename. Yeah I had a great time with everyone at the shoot. Never thought I would run out of ammo but it happened :) Finally got to put faces to some names and shoot a hell of a lot of different guns. Much as I hated having that 50 cal next to our lane, once I got to shoot it I couldnt wipe the smile off my face. I sure hope the pics of the 50 cal and others came out ok Ron. I cant wait for the next shoot.

I've thought about that - I've got eyes/ears for the 6 year old - but none suitable for the 3 year old. The NRA also has recommendations against allowing small children (under 6 or 7) near such noise. I seem to recall it from my Range Master's class. It can dammage their small ear bones. |

I'm not slacking, I've been in PA looking for property.
What photo service is working, so I can post the pics? I used hunt101 in the past, but can't seem to access them anymore. Heck the noise was too much for me with muffs on. I lost about 40% in my left ear as a kid due to a rifle being fired about 6" from my head. Muzzle end. |

How goes the property search Ron? Hope you find something cheaper than here in Maryland. Anyways, great pictures....Glad to see me in the top one(white shirt trying listen to ZMan and to clear my head from the .50 blast) As ZMan has said, when do we get together next? Now that I know exactly how far away it is I can turn it into a full weekend of spending time with my girl in Baltimore one day and shooting the other day :)
