well, there are SO many factors....

bluing- is there any left, how much, make sure it isnt reblued,

code - the germans had to make all their military arms in secret so there will be a code like "BYF" ( mauser oberndorf plant ) or something similar which tells you what plant and year it was made.  some codes are more valuable than others, depending on how many that plant produced. ( rarity )

matching numbers-  if its all matching numbers, youve got a hell of a prize- if its all mismatched numbers, you have a shooter.

holster ?

bore condition ?

grips- unaltered ?

Some blue is left I won't attempt a % as everyones idea of that is different. The numbers all match except the magazine. Mfr'd in 1937 and stamped s/42 I would assume this is the mfr code you mentioned. Grips are checkered and unaltered. no holster, bore is good and it's a 9mm. I can take pics later
