There's a good chance Sir Randall may pistol whip you with it if you bring it into his shop.
FWIW, those things need a lot of lube and, IMO, are chock full of problems even when they are running right. I had one at one time and it was a challenge to get through one magazine without a failure. you may try the excessive lube route and if that doesn't work, you may consider heeding my initial advice. |
Although, I must admit they're a fun novelty gun to shoot!
This one (belongs to a friend) was surprisingly 'accurate' (2.5" groups at 10yds - better than I thought it'd be), but the darn thing just WOULD NOT cycle thru a full mag without at least 2 to 3 malfunctions!
Honestly, they DO require a LOT of lube oil to run okay, but might not be worth your hassle. MCNielsen has good advice though - sell / trade it for another gun...
There are SEVERAL nice 'budget' guns in the $250 to $300 range that are good, accurate, and function reliably...I recommend something more conventional! (1911, Glock, etc. or CZ-82, .38spcl, Makarov, etc for a budget gun) However, if you
*STILL* REALLY want the 'ghetto fabulous' style 9mm gun, but want one that's reasonably reliable, I'd get a RPB-Arms modified MPA-30 9mm (Mac 10 Type) with a modified grip that uses Sten Mags...
But they're like $375, and still sometimes have problems - but they're more easily modified for improved function.
