MN carry permit. - AR15.COM

Hey gang. In a couple weeks, I'm going to be taking a class to get a carry permit for MN. I'm wondering what I have to look forward to. I'm assuming that it is a little more in depth than it is here in ND, open book here. Any tips or other usefull information would be great. Thanks.

Only test is a shooting qualification.

Buyer Beware with trainers... CHECK IF THEY ARE ON THE LIST OF APPROVED INSTRUCTORS!!!

I've been burned by this back in '03 when I took a $150 class with one of the CCW 'Carpetbaggers' and he wasn't even on the list, was denied the permit. I went to Sully's classes after that.

Sorry for the slow reply. The trainer is Rusty Ramirez. Says he is an AACFI instructor. Jibberish to me, maybe you guys know more.

There are many training programs out there. You will find a vast array of what courses entail. Research the program and trainer and choose wisely for what suits your interests and needs.
