AJjer_Bullets was killed in a car crash last week. Here is the letter his father sent regarding some items. I'm going to fix the rifle for free. His father is a member here. His screen name is Guppy35. Send him a small note if possible. He said he posted something but I missed it.

"Probably a goofy question for you, but I thought I'd ask. My son was an AK fanatic and I heard him mention In Range a number of times. I think you may have refinished his AK74 build that he was so proud of, and possibly the Polish AK underfolder kit he had built.

He was killed in a car wreck last weekend. His two AKs were cased in his trunk but the force of the accident caused something to get sprayed on the metal of his AK47 underfolder. I guess it seems kind of pointless since he's no longer with us, but for some reason it's important to me to take care of his AKs since he worked so hard and learned so much about them

I'll confess I'm new to AKs, but I plan on learning a lot more since all I have left are the guns and the memories.

I'm wondering how much it would cost to get the AK47 metal refinished, and also how one goes about shipping it to you if that is something you folks could do for me? What would need to be sent? I would imagine the internal stuff would stay here, but the top cover and the rest of the weapon would need to go to you.

Thanks for your help

Dan Johnson"

"Andy posted on the AR15.com AK boards as AJjer_Bullets. Andrew Johnson
was his name. I believe you refinished his AK74 as he didn't like
the original finish, and I think, but am not positive that you did his
Polish underfolder AK47 build. Your name and company name sure came out
of his mouth often enough when he was talking AKs, which was just about
constantly until he met his girlfriend :)

Dan"

We send our prayers and God bless his family from our AK family.

RIP bro, sorry I never got to meet you.  He was from the Rosemount area.

I'm sorry to hear of his passing.

I hope that this isn't in bad taste, but I got it from the Star Trib:
