My Glock17 has been giving me grief for some time now. I have had many parts replaced and still no success on my FTE problem. Today, Tom Martin at Bill's Gun Range took a closer look at it and discovered the locking block is prone to movement in the frame.
I know, I know. I'm lucky the thing didn't explode on me, kill my family, my dog and shoot 2 miles through the nearest school...  I have been able to put thousands of rounds through it with minimal faliures considering the seriousness of the problem, and I'm confident Glock will make it right for me. THanks again to BGS and Tom to sending it back to Smyrna, GA on my behalf and for discovering the problem!!!

I suggest that you wait until the gun comes back from Glock, and then sell it to me for $100.00!
 Then save up a little bit more money, and BUY A COLT 1911A1!!! Then you don't have to worry about your gun exploding, and you don't have to worry about it shooting your dog.  You might ask why you should do this...??? BECAUSE IT'S A GLOCK!

Gunstop has the SA 1911A1 "WWII" for $399. Used kimbers under glass for $500. What are you waiting for?

 I own a G19 and couldn't be happier. If I had the funds I would buy a 1911, definitely not for concealed carry though

You could always go one better and get a HK USP and use that insted! O I forgot you already have one USE IT. You wont have those problems.
