I just got back from protesting outside Williams Arena here at the University of Minnesota campus.  Being affiliated with the College Republicans, and the Protest Warriors, I was given the heads up for this Republican Hosted Protest.

Who were we protesting?  MICHAEL MOORE!

That pudgy liar is giving a speech/show/event here at Williams Arena, and the College Republicans showed up to help fight the hoards of leftist liberals.  I passed out so many of the fliers for the College Republicans that I ran out of them 5 or 6 times.  We all held signs, plackards, passed fliers, and got some more Republicans active in society.  I then helped my friends at the Protest Warriors debate with some of the most illogically left socialists I've ever encountered!

This was an event to remember.  I wish I had my digital camera with me!!!  There was a man driving his car down University Ave, hooting & hollering at our signs such as:
"Michael
Moore
Attention
Whore!"
And just as he was passing he almost rear-ended the stopped car in front of him!  Some people almost hit the UMPD traffic cops while reading our signs along University Avenue.

Some of the fliers I passed out there were "disguised" as liberal literature in their titles...  "Protect Yourself From Voter Fraud & Identity Theft," and it then goes on to describe how the two Organizations that are hosting tonight's Michael Moore event are under investigation for potential Voter Fraud, and how one of their employees is being prosecuted for Identity Theft...  It also then says not to register to vote with that organization's employees/volunteers, but to register elsewhere.  Then in the fine print it says that the information was provided to them "by the College Republicans" at the bottom of the page.

You should have seen it.  There was a news station recording us passing out fliers to a HUGE group of Michael Moore fans...  They all passed the Protest Warrior plackard guy saying, "Alright!  I LOVE PROTESTERS!" not reading the sign in its entirety...  (shows the intellect level of many liberals)  And then one of them read the fine print in front of the news camera, "THIS IS FROM REPUBLICANS!!!"  Immediately they all threw them down on the ground (like they had Anthrax or something on the paper) by the front entrance in front of the news camera...  I walked past the camera guy and muttered, "Jeez, and I thought these liberal democrats were all about peace, and saving the environment," as several of us Republicans and myself picked up all the fliers & garbage (all while the news camera, Kare 11 IIRC, was filming us cleaning up after the Democrats).

Several of us were interviewed, filmed, and photographed by news agencies from all over the metro...  It'll be interesting to see what's in the TV & Printed News (RED-STAR Tribune, Pioneer Press, Kare 11, UPN 29, Channel 5, and some student News services) tonight, and tomorrow...  Hopefully the Media won't spin/edit it to make us look like morons.  

Let's just say the freaks REALLY came out of the wood-work to see Michael Moore!  There were GLBT people, bums, punks, and all around freaks that showed up...  So in exchange, we had busloads of College Republicans (all dressed nicely in college clothes, or dockers, or button-down shirts, etc.) from campuses around the state come in to help us protest this event tonight.  We passed out thousands of fliers, debated with some of the most bizarre nuts on earth, and I don't think a single "Democrat" won a debate there tonight...

For example, my friend from Protest Warriors was holding the classic Protest Warriors sign:


Then the liberal morons were stating that war "really HASN'T" solved anything...  One of them went on to say that fighting is *never* the right thing to do, even in retaliation, blah blah blah (I felt like hitting him to test his theories, but TV news stations, Newspaper photographers, and UMPD were all over the place;  That, and I'm not the kind of person to break laws).  Then this same guy goes on to saying that all problems should be talked out, and due to the fact that not everyone will agree with their points, they should be "Persuaded" to agree.  They should all be made to agree with the "new American Democracy."  I told him that's Thought Policing, and that it is just Human Nature to disagree, and there's no way to beat disagreement/human nature out of a person!  He then went on to say that "Human Nature IS the problem with society," and the "new American Democracy" should "persuade" people toward their views so they can "start to evolve Human Nature" into a more passifist, peaceful society that will all agree with one another, and "get along."  

Then there was a WHOLE PICK-UP TRUCK load of Papa John's Pizza delivered to the main entrance, and they started unloading it with a HUGE "Home Depot Style" dolly, and rolled it through the back gates of the Arena.  Everybody said, "WTF?" aloud, and I said, "Holy Shit!  Looks like Michael Moore wanted a little 'Pre-Show' Snack back stage!"  The whole crowd of Republicans burst out in laughter...  

Okay, on to the "Activist Plug" part of this post.

These are college students, and possibly influential people in the future of America, and I hope that some of you are Getting Out There, Fighting the Fight, and Writing To Your Politicians!!!

This is the only way that we will be able to keep the American Government from destroying itself from within.  Fight Socialism.  Write Your Politicians ABOUT EVERYTHING IMPORTANT in your life.  OPPOSE bad legislation, and for the LOVE OF GOD:

FIGHT TO GET "SHALL-ISSUE" CCW BACK IN MINNESOTA!

If you don't get out there, fight the fight, and write letters for the right...  YOU THEN HAVE NO RIGHT TO BITCH when things don't go your way...  Because you've passively done nothing to help.

Take 15 minutes to write your opinions on things to your politicians...  THEN GET OUT & VOTE ON NOVEMBER 2ND!!!

There was a guy selling T-Shirts in the lobby of the Arena that said something like "No Blood For Oil," and there were the New Socialist Party people there passing out Kerry Stickers, and selling Kerry/Edwards buttons with LED lights that flashed in the shape of a red Flower...  

It was a regular F#CKING CIRCUS there tonight!  

I forgot to add:

University of Minnesota PD was there in force with fire-extinguisher size mace bottles to keep things calm.  They handled things very well, I must admit.  So I thanked the Chief for doing a good job.

There was a new parking ramp installed across the street, and there was a guy eerily standing at the top of the ramp holding something in his hands for about an hour...  Couldn't quite make out what it was, but it looked like a gun or a bull-horn at first.  Then one of the cops told us that it was one of their own video-surveillance guys who was recording all the activities out front...  He wanted to ensure that if there was a fight or riot that broke out they could catch the violent people on tape, and prosecute accordingly...  The learned that after the hocky-game riots a year or two ago...

All in all, I think we may have done some good for society tonight.

One of the people there thought I was a democrat advocating Kerry, and gave me a BUNCH of tickets to bring all of my friends to see Edwards this Sunday, October 10th, Maple Grove Senior High School, 9800 Fernbrook Lane, Maple Grove, MN.  I gave most of my tickets (except I kept 7 for myself or friends) to the PROTEST WARRIORS...  I'm not likely going to make it there.  However, they said they were going to hide their plackards/signs, and use the tickets to infiltrate the John Edwards event, and then wreak havoc and/or pass out their "under-cover" liberal-mocking fliers...  

This sunday ought to be interesting to see what happens with the Protest Warriors at the Edwards Rally!  

That's exactly what I thought...  Apparently he's not sick enough to throw away $40,000.00+ for only ~2 hours of preaching lies to a bunch of gullible college pot-heads and hippies.
