The only reasion I am voteing for princeton is because I want to shoot garbage for a change of pace.
Water jugs wood bowling pins general crap like that. Any day any where I will be there. |

Putting holes in paper is getting a little old. It would be fun to shoot at water jugs or pins for a change. Im open to princeton or del tone Maybe Paulie would let us set up some pins or jugs out there if it was oked ahead of time. I know they used to shot pins out there in the past.

I'd like to put some holes in my old PC if I can get out to the range for this one... Hence a sunday would work best for me for this shoot. (they often make me work on saturdays)

The weekend after 3-gun is open for us. The only thing on the calander is a family reunion at the trap range. Hey Quin, When you get a minute why don't you give me a call and we can set up the dirty details.
As for garbage, how about a "Fruit Shoot". Two weekends after 3-gun is the MN USPSA Sectionals and I still want to keep the range junk free. After that we could have a fruit shoot before the hunting season kicks in. Melons at 200 yards, potatos at 50 yards are pretty cool. We even have a special rack for those. Plus the mess after wards makes great critter bait. Paulie |

A fruit shoot sounds fun I know a small watermelon at 200 yards disappears when hit by a 40gr V-max. Another thing that is fun is to shoot eggs at 100 yds.

Hey guys, some great input here. So right now it looks like Sunday the 22nd at Del-Tone or Princeton.
Shooting at junk sounds cool, but I am also looking forward to shooting at Del-Tone again and checking out the improvements. I will try to contact you soon Paulie. The only setback for me is I may have to be out of town that weekend. Hopefully I can make it, but even if I can't, it sounds like things will come together for you guys. I'll check back when I know more. |

Welcome SG, The 308 dpms is a great rifle. I wouldnt get rid of mine for nothing. Once you get a plastic mag that works in your gun they are very accurate.

Somebody else may want to take the reins on this shoot since I will be out of town that weekend. It sounds like Sunday Aug 22nd at Del-Tone. If you are going be sure to contact Paulie at Del-Tone and let him know.
My weekends are kinda full until into September at which time we can put together the fruit shoot at Del-Tone. There is also the Princeton MG shoot in Sept. I have been renting a spot there for arfcommers to share if that interests anyone (semi-autos welcome). |

Ill be out there on sunday. I can talk to paulie this week if there is interest. Shellghost I will be doing some work with my LR308 on sunday with different types of ammo getting ready for a precision rifle class your welcome to join in the fun.
Sound off if interested for deltone on sunday the 22nd.

Ill be up there by noon at the latest unless we get enoughf people together for a arfcom shoot then Ill be there earlier. I hope DPMS gets my toy fixed before then so I can get some more trigger time before the 3 gun the next weekend.

Hey everyone. Sorry I have not had time to check this in a while. 3 Gun was a great sucess and that has taken up all of my time lately.
SUnday the 22nd would be aperfec t time to come up. We only have a family reunion that weekend at the food shack so the ranges will be open. I have some new cool steel that we can put out for long distance shots. Saw a lot of you at 3 gun, hope you all had a great time. For those of you that did not make it, the prize table was over $100,00. Sign up for next year. Everyone got something cool. I am thinking of going out to princeton on sunday22 instead of deltone only because I have a few tests to run on a tv,chair and other objects. Also I need a little longer range for my Rem700 to strech it's legs.(practice for P.R. class)any one who want's to join me is welcome. I will be calling about sunday tomorrow.

I would be up for Princeton also. One last go around with some of you guys would be fun. I have some 1.75" Oak butcherblock I'd like to shoot up and maybe some different metals. Would also like to do some double taps and rapid fire. Anyone else up for Princeton?

Severe Financial Cruch Time... Can't make it in... I've asked to be scheduled the whole weekend. Looks like I've got my wish, I'm working both saturday & sunday. I might have a few hours each day to MAYBE make it to the gunshow though... Oh well. I need to get some extra overtime cash because I'm almost to my tuition savings goal, and I NEED to buy a new handgun... Mine is almost dead. (more on this in another posting)

LOL!!! Dsspro, What guns are U having deals on??? I'm looking to buy something in .45 ACP. Preferrably a 1911A1 (maybe a springfield or colt)... I'm kinda trying to stay toward either .45 ACP or .380 ACP... This next gun will definitely have to be .45 ACP, and I've always wanted a 1911. I've only got ~$400 to $450 to spend at present... Edited to add: Though I HATE glocks, it appears as though this might be the only reliable .45 in my price range...

First this August ARFCOM shoot is not a Defensive Edge Shoot. You will notice from the photo that nobody in this Defensive Edge Group has hand piercings!!!  Despite loads that were out of NATO spec, and some indiscriminate shooting of evil assult weapons from the hip, we all came away injury free. Well, I don't know if she's hot or not, she's my sister. She does have pink hair and a bunch of piercings tho.
I need a sling for my Ithaca M37, a CQB SOP sling with the 1" webbing tabs on each end will work out best I think. Whipped up the front mount last night, prolly do the rear mount tonight. |

Ill be at deltone around 11:30 -12:00 I talked to Paulie earlier in the week and he said if we had the people He may put out some steels in rifle bay for us but It is limited to a .308 max caliber. Hope to see you there Ill be at the 100 yd bay doing testing on some new ammo with the LR308.
Ill also be a Princeton @ 4:00ish Death451 are you planning on some long range plinking? |
