Arriving Tuesday, staying 3 nights and leaving Friday. Staying at the Galt House and looking for something to do on one or more of those evenings. Won’t have transportation when not with coworkers, so looking for things within walking distance or short cab ride.

Good restaurants, sights to see that are open late afternoon, bars or clubs that give a decent looking 38 year old a chance at landing some strange.

What you got?

Evan Williams distillery tour, and buy a bottle of the 23 year when complete.  It was $350 the last time I visited, and that has probably gone up.  The tasting portion in the speakeasy was worth it too.

The Galt House is cool.  They had a no-gun sign on the door when I stayed there last but that was probably 12 or 13 years ago.

I had an AR pistol in my bag and my side-arm and nobody had any clue.  I wasn't leaving anything in the car.

I haven't been, but I've heard from multiple people that 8 Up is worth going to for mature women that aren't trashy. Look up any conventions in town and if there is anything that may have a lot of women, then try Howl at the Moon. I was there during some school principals convention and they are willing. If you want to hang out with the locals, go to Stooges at any time, they are open from 0600-0400 everyday. Tons of good food downtown and off Bardstown Road, Frankfort Ave, and there are gems everywhere in between. Big Bad Breakfast is great for breakfast and morning cocktails.
