Not sure how active the hometown is here... but trying here before posting in GD.

I got a job offer here. We've wanted to get some land(10 acres+), and this looks like a decent option from a quick search.

We like it a lot in Utah, just expensive for land and housing in general. And this would cut our drive back to TX where both our parents are at in half.

It would be me, and my wife, and our 2 kids(4,9).

Need to live within an hour drive of Paducah, and would have a company vehicle/gas. Probably looking to spend a max of 600k on a house, any insight on where to go/look, schools, or maybe a good realtor who knows the area would be helpful.

My brother lived in Paducah for several years and worked for an oil refinery there.  He liked the area.
