This week I will be down in Louisville/lexington area, I am wondering if there is any good places to buy 50 BMG ammo?

How about places with long ranges to shoot at?

Knob Creek Range, just south of Louisville, sells 50 cal ammo and can shoot out to 400ish.

Not aware of anywhere else than Knob Creek to shoot it, though.

You can shoot it out of a rifle at the Boyle county range in Junction City.  No automatic weapons though.
