Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Land Between the Lakes camping and hunting

Since I'm new to the area, I was wondering if anybody knows any good spots in LBL that I can camp near good areas for deer and turkey. If anybody is familiar with the area, any advice is appreciated.

Also, what kind of sleeping bag is needed for fall/winter here in KY.

ANYPLACE at LBL is thick with deer. You can see dozens of deer at a time.

It gets cold here so the lower temp rated bag you have the better. You can always unzip if you get too warm. I was issued an Extreme Cold Weather bag at Ft Campbell and was happy to have it on many field problems.
