I have never spent anytime in KY, always wanted to see the sights, visit the distilleries; what time of year is best to visit?

Early April or October....which just happens to coincide with Knob Creek.

Seriously though, anytime from april-mid june or mid august-mid october give you the best chance of moderate weather.

Right now is a pretty good time, KNOB CREEK.

Also it has been in the 60's and 70's and the trees are starting to bloom. Check out a Bourbon operations now or in Oct, they get hot in the summer.

Downtown Louisville has a lot to offer Slugger Factory, Frazier Arms Museum, Ali Museum, Louisville Bats game. Thunder over Louisville this year will have the BLUE ANGELS coming.... (Only a few weeks away...)
