Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Public ranges near Ashland?

My wifes family lives in ashland and we both like to shoot. Are there any public ranges in the Ashland, Flatwoods area? We primarily shoot pistol (wife shoots S&W .500 mag hock.gif), but I like to shoot long gun as well.

Well, not to may free or pay per day ranges that I know of. There is one that I have seen passing through Boyd County off of the interstate. I think you take the road across from Flying J's and it is down that way, I forget the name of it. I think you have to be a member or a friend of a member to shoot there.
