I'll be up at the Dawson Springs range for a while tomorrow (Saturday) around noon. Probably take the AR50, AR10, a couple AR15s and the MAC. Went to Lightfighter to visit my suppressor today, but alas, no Form 4 so another weekend of noisy subgun shooting.

Had a great time today, guys. Had the range all to myself up until about 3:00. There are enough of us around here that we should get together for an Arfcom AWB Sunset Party. Anyone interested?

Where are you located at, I am here at Ft. Campbell and there is a range of of exit 19 I go to, it is out door's and then I go to Joelton to the indoor range down there it is called ASP Gun Academy.

Too late! The Form 4 came back and your most efficient retail guy, Jeremy (whom deserves a bonus) gave me a call. Hey, come to think of it the 5320.20 for the MAC has a certain Cooper Creek address on it. Lets go down and piss off those neighbors some more.
If ya ever get a free Saturday I know of a range where the neighbors are a bit more friendly.

Shooting Walmart White Box stuff there is a nice sonic "pop" but still substantially quieter than normal. Loaded up some subsonic with Hornady 147gr projos and 3.1gr of Red Dot. Shooting the can dry was about like the airguns you use to shoot the star out at the carnival, a chatter with a pneumatic sound. Shooting it wet was a little quieter but with all the back pressure it was blowing some pretty nasty stuff out of the receiver. Overall, very happy with the can, but I don't think the neighbors cats are gonna like it much.

Well, I invited everyone out this past weekend. www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=8&f=27&t=184270. I go to shoot about every weekend and the directions to the range are in the above thread. Saturdays are the best day since the club uses the range about every Sunday. The last Saturday of the month the Pistol section hosts a bowling pin shoot from 9-3. |

Glad you got your surppressor. I've been ranning a range here in Iraq for the last 11 days now. Finally got the approval to shoot our M2 .50s on the 25m range (test fire). Fired my M240B this morning will moving in the backseat of the HUMMVE. Should be home in December time frame. Maybe we can shoot some more then. CD PS did you ever get a drum wheel for that BUIS? EDITED to add I heard a rumor that they are going to reopen Range 16 on Ft Campbell. Anyone one know for sure? |

Hey, I thought the whole country was a range over there. Let me know when and I'll pick you up at the airport. we can go straight to the range from there. Suppressor works great, BUIS Knob from Georgia Precision $10, Range 16 would be nice so I'll give Range Control a callthis week.

Forgot to mention the cycle rate at 3,000 rpm or 50 rounds per SECOND! We carry 9,000 rounds in the truck for it.

Been in the store a few times and I've asked for the guy who posts here but don't believe so. Have met Jeep29 up at Dawson's Rg and yesterday met TangoChaser. Just got through meeting with KMFDM 10 minutes ago. Been talking sniper guns and 6.8 SPC. I'll stop back by the shop when I get home. Just remembered that deer season opened this past weekend on Campbell. CD |
