Summer fun in the Berkshires?

I posted in the MA HTF, but know some of you are regional savy.

We're having a family vacation in a resort near Jimney Peak, in July. Other than Jimney Peak, what is there to do that's relatively close?

Anyone have experience at Lake Onota or Pontoosuc?

Barrington Brewery is a pretty cool place. Good food too.

A possibility, but looking for more "family" things.
There will be 7 kids under 18 (5 of which aren't yet teenagers).

Six Flags Agawam and Zoom Flume (in NY) are an equal 1.5hrs ride from the lodging. That's not terrible, but we'd like options that are 20-45min drives. Those 2 lakes seemed a good fit.

Mt Greylock is close. Incredible view. Also the Golden Eagle restaurant, nice lunch with a view. Tannery falls is another thing the kids might like. The bridge of flowers is about 1 hr east, the town is interesting and so are the rocks in the river there, kids will like it.
