Just a little light in a dark time. Heard on the news, after 16 months, the state of MA is letting her go home. Her mother picks her up today.

Awesome news, thanks for sharing!!  I saw an article last week that sounded like she was getting close.  It's still more than a little alarming that the state could just take her like that.  I won't even put in writing what I would do if I were her father.

Welcome home, young lady!

Danny boy is going to milk this, trying to make everyone think that it was him alone that made this happen.

He did nothing.

Just like Deval Patrick did nothing.

This cannot be emphasized enough.

He did absolutely nothing to help this cause. His views actually work for the level of state control that took this kid away from her parents.

I wrote three letters to his email regarding this. Three separately drafted letters, not just copied and pasted. Not a single reply from his people.

But back before the gun law was passed AND after, I got automated responses. But nothing regarding the Pelletiers.

Fuck Malloy.

Oh, I know.  But that doesn't mean he won't try to use this news to his advantage anyway.

Well, isn't that nice of the Commonwealth. The child was only separated from her family for about 486 days. What's the big deal?

Here's a full length interview that the local Fox channel did with Justina... The details of what she endured starts at 3:10

I would not have handled things the same way that Lou and Linda Pelletier did. It's just not in my nature to remain as patient and as trusting in the legal system. These people certainly deserve their day in court. Hopefully it tears down this level of state control. What a travesty.

I really, REALLY hope he gets a lawyer and starts launching lawsuits against her kidnappers.  Granted he won't see a dime...and if he does, it will all go to the lawyer... but it will still convince those socialists up in Massachussets to think twice the next time they get the idea in their head that the gov't always knows best.

There are folks here that will know better, but if I'm not mistaken you need the State's permission in order to sue them. I know that seems ironic, but I believe it's the case.

Certainly the case in CT, a good example being the chimpanzee lady.
