Town Hall Meeting

Wednesday, February 20, at 7:00 PM in Waterbury

Dear  Tommyt

As you know, the tragedy two months ago in Newtown, in our Congressional district, has launched a national conversation on reducing gun violence and saving lives.

That's why I'm holding my first official town hall meeting as your Congresswoman, next Wednesday, February 22, at 7:00 PM at the Rotella Interdistrict Magnet School in Waterbury.

In Congress, I'm serving as one of 12 vice chairs of the House Gun Violence Prevention Task Force. Recently we released a set of 15 policy principles to guide future efforts to reduce gun violence.

As we continue this national discussion, I want to make sure your voice is heard. That's why I hope you'll join me in Waterbury on Wednesday night.

I want to hear your questions, thoughts, and ideas on how we can work together to reduce gun violence and save lives.
