I found  the cheapest place is eBay. Now before you flame me, I looked at what Military Specilties had and what they wanted for them and then looked at the 10 pack on eBay for $83 INCLUDING shipping and had to go with it.  I can't see paying $20 for a beat up 7.62 can when I can get nearly new for under $9.

Military Specialties is over priced.
I usually wait until the BigE gun show or the one in Durham and buy them there.

Thanks guys. I know that Military Specialists is way over priced. I will just have to wait until the next big show comes around. There is a Army Navy store in Mystic, I can't remember the name. Anyone ever been there? I remember looking at there web page a while ago. I have no idea what there like. Perhaps the next time work takes me out to the Groton / New London area I check it out.

Battlezone Army & Navy 371 Boston Post Rd, Orange, CT.   Is this the old Jimmy's Army Navy store? I remember it as only a clothing store, not very much into surplus.

Actually, there's 2  Army Navy stores in Mystic.  There's the one in Old Mystic Village, and the one in the center of town, near the drawbridge (I got my 25mm composite ammo can from here).  Also, there's one in Groton, down by the water and by Electric Boat.  I'm no good with giving directions, but if you need clearer than that, I can take a trip and get more specific directions.

BTW, where would you be coming from?

I live in Cheshire. However, work can take me to most parts of the state. Norwich and New London are two spots I can be called to if the need for my services arises. I have no urgent need for ammo cans now. They are handy items to have on hand and I would not mind having a few spares in reserve.
