Looks like we made a save on the sub base.
So far CT has lost 56 army jobs at three reserve units.
Air National Guard base at Bradlee will go to vote on Thursday.

As a former nuclear project engineer at GD/EB in the early 1970s, that news makes my day!

Closing that sub base would have been one of the stupidest things for national security that they could have done!

Very good news. I spent the first 3 years of my Navy days in Groton. It would be sad to have seen it close.
