i am not familiar with the laws in CT.   i have a postban AR15  i was thinking about shooting in danbury ,ct.  just wondering what the rules are being that i am out of state (from NY).

Yes.  

Postban configured rifles aren't assault weapons, and therefore can be brought into the state.

Whats your opinion on buying a Pre-ban Bushmaster lower that was originally built into a rifle prior to 9/94 and now has been built with a postban RRA upper and 6 position stock.  Is this legal to possess in CT?
