Has anyone been to this show?  And is it worth going to?

I want to pick up a Sig 226.

Yes it is one of the best shows in MA, typically ~500 tables, good location with easy/no-cost parking.

Thank you LenS.  I will be taking my 4 year old to his first gun show next Saturday.  This is going to please my liberal mother in-law so much.

Agreed, it is my favorite too, but unfortunately I have plans both days that I can't do anything about, so maybe next year!

I hope to make the Big E on Saturday, Oct 9th, assuming nothing else gets in the way.

Been practicing defensive shooting tactics with a bunch of guys/gals who attended Jim Crews class last June in the Nashua area. So, I've been heading North on Sundays when I can to join them. Can't do that sort of shooting at Braintree and questionable at Ames. Haven't stepped foot on Ames property since June meeting and haven't shot there at all this year.

More truth than fiction! Most guns are way overpriced at shows anyway. I go for the accessories. Other than two air pistols (Walther), I've only bought one "real" gun at a gun show and that is from 28 years of shooting and lots of gun shows.

MASSIVE difference in what's offered (and prices) at NH and MA gun shows. MA is mostly rifles/shotguns and accessories. Very few handguns.

I'm going to Malboro also. I've never been to that show. Date, [Sat/Sun] will depend on expected weather conditions. The Big E is the largest show I've been to in MA. but it's a hour ea. way traveling, if the weathers crappy I might go to that one also. The AMES website was redesigned and there was a couple of 3 gun shoot's @ AMES on Sat a.m's over the summer LenS you might have liked it. Cya.

Good Show. I usually make it to both the Fall & Spring/Winter shows.
Ammo tables were a bit lite last time. Attracts big crowds, sometimes end up parked past the Hotel.

I saw you there Joe, but you were too busy showing off all the cool gear to buyers.   I'll try and catch up with you at the next show.

Hi Joe,

Good meeting you in person. I bought the CQB sling and a G2Z flashlight off you while I was there. Very good deal on both.....

I was also the guy who couldn't figure out if the 5.11 pants would work for me either. Think I'll put an order into you this week.

PS: Do you still have any more of the G2Z or M3 Surefires at a good price?

Thanks in advance..

Best,
Joe

LOL Joe.  Everybody here loves to rip the Marpat.   Do they know Natick Labs developed it here locally.  BONG!
