Wincheck Gun Club will be having a Rattle Battle starting at 10 A.M.
This match is designed for semis-but we get a few bolt action shooters, too!

Course of fire is 60 rounds total, two stages.
Stage 1, 100 yards, offhand. Three IPSC targets, 90 seconds.
1 point per hit. No alibies. A clean target is a DQ. As many rounds
as you want up to the match total of 60.

Stage 2, 200 yards, any unsupported position (no bipods,
no magazine monopodding, etc.). Three IPSC targets, 1 point
per hit, no hits is a DQ. As many rounds as you want up to the match total of 60.

If we have enough of a turnout we'll likely have two or three man teams.
Fee will be between $5- if you shoot it twice-pay fee twice.

You are not required to shoot an even number of rounds per stage-ie
30 and 30. But you must have hits on each target at each stage or
you are bolo'ed (disqualified).

I try to bring a couple of rifles and shoot a few times. AR, Enfield, FAL.....

DIRECTIONS

Interstate 95 take Exit 6 to Route 3 South. Route 3 to a left turn to Congdon Mill Road,
approx. 3 miles. (turn left, across from the West Greenwich Inn, there is
a blinking light at the intersection-you are going down the road next to the fire tower and station).

Follow Congdon Mill Road to the end (drive slowly past the farm,
please!), take a left onto New London Turnpike (the road ends,
you have to go left or right).

Follow this for 3-400 yards or so. The road will bear right, but a
dirt road is straight ahead, with a large white sign for the club.
Follow the dirt road for about a mile, we are the gate on the right,
which will be open that morning.

Follow the road to the club, rifle hut is the house furthest away from
you. You may need to park in the large lot and hump your stuff to
the shooting point.

IM or e-mail me for more info.

Eye and ear protection are mandatory

We do require that you sign a liability waiver to shoot, bt you don't have to be a member to shoot.
