I can’t find info anywhere and it’s irritating me. I’m looking at a particular brand of struts for my truck and there are two in my price point but the ONLY difference (aside from price) is that one has a longer travel length than the other by about an inch.

How big a deal is travel length and would that inch make much of a difference if I’m not off roading? Maybe a dirt road or two to my brothers place but that’s about it.

Is the longer travel length longer overall?
It would almost have to be, that would change your ride height  and things.
Stick with stock.

Sound advice but I would also go with Quality brand as I could afford. I’m fixing to have to replace the struts on my Poshittylaris Ranger.

So I’ve finally learned that there was a far more vast difference in the two I was looking at but I finally figured out what one to get. Maybe my knowledge quest was too technical for the interwebs
