People that abandon dogs in the country just suck.

I went to the lake for the last day of squirrel season and four pups walked up to me.

There is a special place in hell...

A tow sack and a brick would have worked to take care of them at the lake.

Yeah but you'll gain the ability to lick your own nuts, and chase your own tail.

Found a place for them I could not leave them there to freeze and starve.

Shelter in town wanted $40 EACH for dogs from out of town.  Not sure what they charge for animals found in town.

I did not abandon them and I did not "take care" of them.

Found a little skinny, dirty dog at Draper lake 3 years ago ––- 1st pic is after a bath,  2nd pic is after a lot of medication, TLC, and a haircut.     She is about 13 or 14 years old (Vet's best guess) and still doing well.
found another little cow dog mix at the Slaughterville range a year ago –– similar story, underweight, had mange, and needed a lot of TLC.   I don't have a pic of her on photobucket , but she is now healthy and happy (and borderline overweight –– she starved for so long, the vet says she doesnt know how to turn down food now)

I salute you for giving those little dog's a second chance hopefully.

My wife has rescued over 300 animals and placed them in good homes over the last two years. It is sad what people do to these animals.
Get your pets fixed I'm tired of paying to do it for ya!

What town? If they're not adopted soon, the shelter will probably put them down anyway.
