I got in trouble for having an inert practice rifle grenade on my tool box where I used to work...made the service manager nervous.
I got called into the big boss's office...there was my grenade on his desk...I had not missed it... we talked about all sorts of shit...I got a .50 cents an hour raise...and he gave me my rifle grenade back. Told me to take it home 'cause it made others nervous. Didn't seem to bother 'the man with the fuzzy nuts'...of course...he was in the navy...served on destroyers...handeled much larger ordinance than a puny little faux rifle grenade.

The hard part now solved, time to get some blanks. I really want to see how far they fly. Here's a vid of these anti-tank practice grenades in flight:

i haven't been able to find the proper "cartrige, grenade M195". it has a red tip.
but with regular old blanks it goes just about as far as you can throw it. 50-60 feet. fail on killing a tank. woo hoo for lawn darts, thing is, its not very sturdy. i guess most grenades were pretty well one use. but this is a training device. |
