I had a fantastic hunt in North Carolina last week. Haven't hunted anything in Oklahoma yet, though.

I have seen lots of does, and a few bucks, but have not taken anything yet.
I am off this weekend and should fill a tag or two. |

I took my first doe with a bow a few weeks ago, brother took a nice 9pt that dressed out at 160 last week. Heading back out Friday night for 8 more days of wood watching

lots of does in my front yard and one smallish spike, haven't yet decided if I want to butcher one yet

yea last week I took a firsttimer out, and low and behold they got 10yards from a what I could see was at least a 10pointer,and they got BUCKFEVER and froze up
but a good day was had anyway

it sucks. Have permision for me and the wife to hunt on her cousins land and use his blinds and everything but it is landlocked by her grandpa and he told her not to bother coming out becuase he didnt want us out there.
I didnt care to much about hunting and havent hunted in a long time but my wife who has never hunted b4 wanted to go so this was for her. Her heart is broke now, fucking inlaws. |
