You should hold an auction.  I went to an auction today because they had a few guns.  I saw a brutally abused Remington 11-48 go for about $250.  A savage model 99 went for $750.  All the auctions I've been to, I've always seen the guns go for too much money(IMHO).  Maybee I should quit going to buy guns.

If there where enough guys with enough guns to sell, an auction would bring huge amounts of $.

You are right about that! I learned a long time ago not to try to buy guns at auctions.

People just go nuts over guns at auction.

Stuff does go high. But how much of that $$ goes to the seller and how much goes to the auction company?

I don't know, but that 11-48 Remington was not worth $100. IMHO.  It looked like it had been drug down a bad road.
