Looks heavy, how does it compare with other "pocket guns"?

don't know about all the others, (Taurus,Springfield, Jiminez) don't care.
it was down to the Kahr pm9 and this, went here because of single action (vs. D/A) only.

the Kahr's 17 oz a Cluck 43 is 14.75, my Sig is 16 oz (all with empty mag)

That's lighter than I thought, I like the single action option.

The planets have to align for my schedule to be perfect with another persons in order to take photographs like these.  This one was a last minute shoot about 30 minutes before a strong storm hit.

I feel bad, but I do turn a lot of people down because my schedule can be overly busy at times.  I need to make more time for quality photos, most of the ones I take are with a camera phone and not worthy of posting.

Nice, never seen a stock like that.  What is it? That's the shortest suppressor I've ever seen on an AR.

Thanks its a BCM stock. And thats a Surefire Warden, not a suppressor. It just pushes all the concussion forward, it works great if you are shooting inside, or near other people.

Ah...that explains it.  I have something similar, looks like one of those Noveske Pig things.  I figure if I ever build an SBR it'll go on it.

Nice set of rifles, I like ACOGs. I not positive if I've ever shot anything with an Eotech but I think I shot one of Leemozoid's.  The top one looks a little odd with all the non-standard parts and then an A2 grip .  I actually don't mind the standard grips, I prefer the Hogue grips but the originals still feel pretty good to me.

SBR is an arfcom BFL logo lower, spikes LPK and buffer, KAC trigger and rail, MI gas block, and the rest of the upper is BCM.  51t brake and M4-2000 hangin on an 11.5bbl.

It actually had its first stoppage on that trip, stuck a Tula case in the chamber.

Ok, so let's give this a shot.  Heh heh...   Long story short I've been saving for a loooonnnnggggggg loooooonnnnnggggg time to build this thing.  I was going to sell my other Grendel to finance a good chunk of the build cost but I couldn't do it so I gave it away instead.  To my sister .  That meant the build took much longer than I wanted but my Loki stayed in the family and now she and I each have our own Grendel.  She helped a great deal by getting me parts for birthdays and Christmas's and the rest I purchased when I found them on sale.  This is the first AR I've done from the ground up but it wasn't just me.  Dan (most of y'all know him) helped a HUGE amount and I give him credit for most of the build.  I wanted to do the whole thing myself but medical issues made that impossible so Dan and my sis joined in and between the three of us we finished it.

First all the deets, or those I can remember anyway.  Spikes Tactical upper receiver, Spikes Tactical Nickel Boron BCG, some high strength bolt I can't remember the name of, Spikes Tactical/Sharps Bros "The Jack" lower receiver, BCM Gunfighter Mod 3 charging handle, lower parts kit by Strike Industries I think (gotta double check that), Strike Industries forward assist, Larue Tactical MBT-2S trigger, LuthAR MBA-3 adjustable buttstock, Hogue overmold beavertail grip, Strike Industries melonite rifle length gas tube, SLR adjustable gas block, Midwest Industries Gen 3 free float Mlok handguard, Faxon 20" (I think it's their "Gunner" profile), Odin Works Atlas 6.5 tunable comp/brake/flash hider, JP Enterprises thread protector (for when Atlas 6.5 isn't being used), Larue Tactical LT745 20 MOA scope mount, Vortex Viper PST FFP 6-24x50 scope and a Magpul bipod.  I probable forgot some stuff but this is what I can remember or look up quickly.

As of today I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet so I have no idea yet how it's going to perform.  I haven't weighed it but it feels pretty decent for a 20" barrel rifle that wasn't purposely built for low weight.  My last Grendel was built primarily for hunting and target shooting as it's secondary but since I'm still without anywhere to hunt I build this one primarily for target shooting and it's secondary purpose being hunting.  Would make a really sweet hunting rifle though.

I know some of you guys get all bunged up about these types of lowers but it appealed to me so if it triggers you all I can say is suck it up buttercup.

Went out and laid in the weeds today, kept them all on target even I could hardly see it through the grass at times. 8" at 100 isn't target standards by any stretch but for guessing where the target center was I'll take it. Most were in about 2", the ones I misjudged opened it way up.
