When do the turks start responding to a call? Seems like they really didn't last year til the end of the season. I saw 24 yesterday on the T farm. We need to all go this year one weekend.

UP north on the Skeleton we saw several separate hens alone yesterday. If the winter flocks have broken up, they should start responding to yelps now. I haven't seen any around my place yet.
The clover patch I planted is starting to sprout though!

Took me a second to realize you were talking about turkey's when you said "turks". I was looking for some ugly arab looking dudes with hand-me down weapons that were smoking camel poop.
