I can't really say how their machines are set up, I know their on radom number generators and the more play they receive the better the odds should be, when you play, you've got to play max bets to increase your chances of winning, most people play less credits, but you'll never hit a big jackpot by playing that strategy, all that does is increase the liklihood(odds) of someone playing max credits hitting, now thats not a guarentee that you'll win either, casinos don't stay in buisiness by every/even most customers winning, now don't get me wrong either, if you want to spend some money playing the machines, then by all means play, just don't expect to win, most people you see hitting a jackpot, has probably put nearly as much if not more into the machine to hit the JP, its the lucky few that have came up and sat down put a few bucks in and hit it big, most have picked the right time when the odds have came around, it just means that someone else has feed the machine and ran outta cash before the odds came around,

if your expecting to win when you go, its better to just stay home or take your woman out, least you'll get something outta that, just think of the machines as an expensive video game entertainment, but if your wanting better odds of increasing your money, then play the table games, blackjack, acey duecey, poker(texas hold'em, omaha, 7 card stud, 3card, caribean stud) piagow, bacceracch and some others I can't think of right now, but don't expect to win all the time on these either, cards fall funny for everyone once in a while, but thats why its called gambling,

everyone I've spoken too, has had very good things to say about remington, I been receiving promotional vouchers for free meals and stuff, so their trying to better their already huge customer base, if your not satisfied with them, theres about 15 other casinos in a 40 mile area, and with the new legislation the states fixing to pass concerning gaming, then its only a matter of time before Okla. is going to have true vegas style class III gaming casinos, theirs already class III at remington and the indian casinos that are signed into the state compact,

whats funny about the state compact, is that only the last four pages deal specificly with indian casinos, taxation of tobacco, and gasoline, which was illigal in itself as outlined in the fed regs, because it combined what should have been three different tribal/state compacts into one, the state said if you want class III gaming (ie. card games) you have to give us a cut of your tobacco/gasoline sales, extortion at its finest, but greediness will make people do and sign into funny deals, now the first 30 or so pages deals mainly with, and caters to the horse racing industry, whom the state rep that aurthored the compact has holdings in,

I'm predicting that we'll have a big named vegas backed casino in OK. in 4 to 6 years that is not an indian casino, this tribal state compact that most tribes signed into for 20 years is going to be their downfall in gaming and as sovergn nations, I  noticed recently that work has again been started on the Skeirvan Plaza in downtown OKC, what I'm predicting is that a backer will come in and make a deal with the OKC council/city and since the city owns the skeirvan, they will sign it over to this backer for say......35 to 40% of the take in exchange for the hotel and location, both parties will make out like fat rats, that will only be the beginning,

but this is nothing new in the state, its been in the works since keating was gov., now that we have the lottery, horse tracks racinos and soon to be independant casinos, our state will be the gambling capital of the mid south, thanks in great part to ignorant tribal leaders whom were blinded by their greed for personal gain, who through their short sightedness sold their own people out, but hell..thats American History.

schools out.

right now they've got regular daily games of 3/6 limit- $30 min buy in, 1/2 limit/nolimit- $100/$200 buy in, 4/8 limit/no limit omaha - ? buy in mostly on fri and sat., 2/5 when theres enough  players for a table I think its a $100 min buy in although I havn't seen a game in more than 4 months, with multi $50-$100 bonus payouts promotions daily,  open from 12pm-6am sun-thurs and 24 hours on fri-sat.

on wed. poker had an 05' 1200 sporter won worth 10k, and on sat. their bad beat promotion went, that was another 21k that was given away, when you go make sure you get a poker "gold card", thats their players apprechiation card, with it your elidgable to receive all promotions when you win.

I should have said.  I know the odds are against winning.  I kind of enjoy the slots.  Watching the people around me is as fun as feeding the machine.  I play kind of slow and just have fun.  I look at whatever I lose as entertainment.

That said I want the best odds I can get.

I also play BJ, craps and poker when it is avaliable.

Their reallly should be a ok ht poker game......

as it is right now, remington and the other tracks will be limited to 650 machines and no table games, but hell nearly every indian casino has poker and BJ, so your good there, t-bird will be getting in 3 card poker and acey duecey with in the next month and will be adding new poker games also, all casinos charge a .50 cent/hand commission on blackjack and like games and pull a rake in poker, right now the poker rake varies in all casinos, t-bird has the lowest at this time at $3 per round, most others vary from $4 to $6.

The Horse Racing Commission has two Gaming Agents assigned to cover the Remington Racino.
One of them is my "protege' - I have taught him how to shoot handguns and rifles, even if he was an US Army Ranger in the 2nd Batt and a current CLEET Instructor.  If you tell him that, he will know who said it!
I've been there twice since he started working there. When I started playing the slots, he left because he couldn't be around anyone he knows playing the machines or even touch them himself.
I actually won over $125 with an initial $20 in the machine. Did it within 20 minutes.
I took my winnings and went back up to his office to vist.
The next time I went, Remington got the $125 back plus another 20 in about an hour!
The nickel or quarter poker machines are almost impossible to get onto. I will tell you this, if you want an honest slot gambling game, the Racinos are pretty straight.
Two of the Gaming Agents that I know are pretty damn sharp and will NOT let stuff get by in their areas.
The lottery system in this state STILL has no investigative or enforcement agents - haven't since Day 1.  Does that tell you something about what might be going on with some of our state leaders?
ACman, Thunderbird is a long way for you. Send me a couple of thousand bucks, and I'll go try out Thunderbird for you. I'll even split the winnings with you!

all depends on how the crowd feels on that particular day I guess, but they got a list, usally if you do have to wait, its never more than 30min., usally alot less, the 1/2 and 3/6 games are what everyone normally plays so they'll have most of the talbes in the room playing these games, in the afternoons from sun to thurs they have small daily tourneys, and regular tables playing, from what I've seen, theres normally 2 to 6 tables playing from around 4pm to 4am on sun. - thurs. and all 14 tables on fri-sat, so I'd say the best times to show up and get in a decent game would be between 4pm and midnight, tables start dying off quick after 12am, even on weekends so if you should come in after that time it might be a longer wait, cause whatever tables that are playing will normally be ten handed,

if you come in the afternoons, talk to the Kellys, theres two of them and their both cute little blond hostesses at the counter, ones 20 and the others my age, tell them you know me, on second thought that might not be a good idea, and if you have a problem, ask for Josh, he's the lead floorman and knows his shit around cards, the other people in there are fenceriders, the dealers are pretty decent, and the room still does hand shuffle.

you'll see alot of clowns that play on line and in friendly games, all of these guys have problems with real table games, they cry and whine and want "do overs", the floor people have to settle arguements and make decisions with some, and with others I have to deal with them,  luckly most of this has settled down since people are now getting used to "real" games
