There are lots of hookers in this state. And the number is on the increase.
When times start getting tougher, there are larger numbers of women going into the oldest profession.
But what Ndenway said about them supporting their habits is very true!
Years ago, before I was married (over 28 years ago) I was invited to an after hours party with a bunch of dancers and customers from the old Scorpio on May Avenue.
The dancers would be rather lax with their favors for newcomers, but I saw money changing hands a few times. I never went again and stopped going to the Scorpio after that. It woke me up to some of the stuff that occurred in this city and state.
Sitting in a lounge in Las Vegas, two real pros came in and sat down. I told my wife they were hookers, but she didn't believe me. So I went to the bar and started talking to the gals. They were really friendly, wanting business of course. When I mentioned my wife sitting at a booth, they both got cold. I asked them to wave at my wife and they got a real charge out of that! My wife didn't think it was funny at the time!
