[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Nova BB Evening Stroll, Annandale edition: Thurs 10/14 @ 1930

Our weekly hike, this week, Annandale location. Next week, Hunter Station. Week after, who knows!

This is a low-profile hike from Hunter Mill Road to Reston Town Center. Lots of Karens so no long guns or battle rattle. Helmets and NODs are good for the way back.

Standard boilerplate follows;
PM me if you need directions to the step off point.
Step off will be at late dusk, so bring a head lamp or flashlight if you're scared of the dark. NODs are for later in the season.
Leashed K9's are welcome. We will see deer and other critters so use your judgement.
Wear good boots / socks.
Bring water.
Return trip will be in the dark. Bring lighting of your choice.

Just took the dog out for a two mile test walk. Knee isn’t quite there. I’m going to give it more rest. I’m out tonight.
