Or wait until gun show. VSP has table set up to do the checks without FFL. I think it is a $2 fee could that is based upon reading a sign while walking by so I may have missed the total charge.

Another advantage is that the State Police are not keeping paperwork while an FFL transfer does effectively register the transfer.

Do yourself a favor and join VCDL.

This goes to show that perhaps not every Virginian is even informed of what is going on with their representatives and who they vote for. There are plenty of situations where common laws passed that affects a large amount of people, such as the cell phone/distracted driver bill, that a lot of folks didn't know passed and were surprised when they got a ticket or found out they can't do person-to-person sales any longer.

It becomes quite important that you pay attention to what is being pushed each year.

But the UBC law does suck and is stupid. It hasn't done one thing to slow down or reduce gun violence. In fact, since it has been in place, homicide rates have risen. The law was put in place only to make it more difficult for the law abiding to buy/sell/trade firearms, period. Thanks demomarxists.
