When we went to DC a couple years ago, there was a seafood market right on the water where the boats brought the seafood to, and they would steam it for you right there, or you could take it with you.

Anything like that in the  Virginia beach area?

Not too far from the airport is a little restaurant called Margie and Ray's.  Good seafood place even though it looks a little bit like a dive.
