They were having a CD release party at Ned Devine's in Sterling. For $10 you could get in, hear an acoustic performance from the duo and you get a copy of their new CD. I really wanted to go to this, but I thought it was next week.
 That's what I get for hearing about it late and not marking it on the calendar. Plus, I've been refinishing my deck for the last 2 days. Please post a review if any of you went. Thanks. MJD

Sounds like a riff from CDB's "This Ain't No Rag, It's a Flag". If I remember the lyrics properly, it goes: "these colors don't run and we speak as one when we say united we stand." MJD |

I got the new album last night. I will say, These Colors Don't Run, My Kind of Country, and Headed South are exceptional songs. Overall, it's good, but I don't think it kicks quite as much ass as Van Zant II.
 If you don't have that, I suggest you look into it. MJD
