I'm looking for a Gun Shop obviously...

That either carries or will transfer/allow me to ship to them some 30rd mags.

Preferably near Southern MD i.e. alexandria, falls church, etc....

Any leads??  or perhaps an alternate method I haven't thought about......

Just pick some up from a Virginia member, Virginia has no laws stating you cannot purchase 30 round magazines

Virginia arms have them on the shelf.

I'll have to check out VA Arms...it's a bit of a hike but not too bad.

I can't pick them up in MD because it is illegal to sell/transfer the mags within the state.  I can however possess them.  Yet another stupid gun law.

I had to live in MD for many years. The "transfer" of any mag over 20 rounds is banned in MD.
That's why MD gun shows never have more than 20 round mags for sale.

Many MD gunowners have interpreted the law as meaning that they can "acquire" whatever they want by doing the transfer out of state.  As far as I know, there have not been any precedential court cases testing the interpretation or a letter from the MD AG's office on the issue.

A VA dealer is certainly not breaking any law selling a 30 to anyone. Its not his concern what happens to it/where it goes. Just come to VA and buy off the shelf if you believe you can have them.

I am not taking sides on another state's law - except it would be best if MD just did away with the 20 round limit.

When I lived in the People's Socialist Republik of MD Ishipped them bak to my folks in PA and went and picked them up there.

That being said +1 for VA Arms!

I am 100% certain that you are not trying to find "a conspirator to knowingly and intentionally violate a law".  We Virginians pride ourselves in full compliance with all statutes required by our elected masters.

I'd like to add something to previous suggestions; A face to face transaction paid in CASH is a good idea.
