Ill be there!

The usual, Georgia Arms .223, and 7.62x39 Wolf. Thats what I'll be there for.

Hopefully there will be some AR or AK accessories, but I doubt it.

I am going!

I have been deployed for half a year and need to catch up.
Let's see if I can spend some of that combat pay

I should be there Sun. sometime.  The old man's coming down from Boston for a visit, so I thought I'd show him what a Southern Gun Show looks like.......even if it is only Hampton

I'm planning on being there Saturday morning.

Look for my navy blue, subdued-flag, GandRTactical.com hat, and say Hi.

One of these times, we'll need to set up a meet-n-greet or lunch or something.  The lunches at Richmond are always a good time.

So who wants to meet for lunch or something today at the show?
Link Posted: 2/18/2006 2:58:38 AM EDT
[#11]
I'd make arrangements for lunch, but I don't know what the person who I'm meeting at the show is going to want to do. And to top it off, I gotta leave now to get there around 10-1030.

I'm supposed to be bringing someone to the show with me (though I haven't heard from him yet), and I'm not sure what he wants to do re: lunch.

However, I'll plan on heading to the area around the concessions about 11:00 AM, if folks want to meet up, say hi, and discuss lunch.

I'll have on tan pants, navy blue hat, backpack, ...

I was there for about an hour, but had to bug out. I couldn't believe the crowd! I dunno why it was so packed...I didn't see anything there out of the ordinary.

I have never seen a line like that to get into a gun show!  The placed was, as subzero says, very crowded.

I picked up one can of heat (500 rounds of Georgia Arms Canned Heat ammo) for $90.

7.62x39 was scarce, but my friend I went with picked up an optic and a bayonet for his AK.

One vendor had Winchester M193 for $5.00 per box of 20.  Several had cases of XM855PD.

Saw stripped lowers from Grizzly & Sun Devil, the S&W AR-15 for $1040, and the S&W M&P pistol for $520 or $530.  Many tables were hard to get to due to the crowds.

Overall, a pretty regular show IMO, except for the crowds.

Yeah, I was amazed at the line and I didn't get there till around 1030 and the parking lot was packed. Inside the gun show was packed as well. It was difficult to even get up to the tables to look.

I bought 500 rounds of Georgia Arms 5.56 as well, but was a little surprise that the price had jumped from $85 at the Virginia Beach Gun Show to $90 at this one.  I did get 3 Glock 21 magazines from Quantico Arms for $17 each.  That's about $3 cheaper than anyplace else. I bought a few other items from Quantico. They had a pretty decent display of Blackhawk gear and Pelican Cases as well and for pretty decent prices. Quantico Arms, to me, had the best deals of anyone at the show.

got there at 915 line was from one end of the building to the other

yeah it was packed but nobody seemed to be buying anything.  I walked around with the Bushy that I've got for sale in the EE and was asking $700 everybody wanted to fondle and say what a great deal it was but nobody wanted to buy.  I think it was so packed because of the arts and crafts show.  That's why household 6 gave me a pass cause she wanted to go to.

I got there at 3:30.  Almost got in trouble cause I didn't realize it was at the Convention Center and not the Colliseum.  Walked into the Colliseum with a rifle slung over my shoulder.  The lady who was wanding people just kinda smiled.  I asked if there was a gun show and she told me it was in the other building.  ;)

The show was still pretty busy when I got there.  I was very happy that I sold my Mini14 in about 45 minutes for my asking price.  :)  Saw lots of rails and accessories for the Black Rifle.

I managed to get out of there with just a bunch of Georgia Arms .45 230gr FMJ.  I wasn't too impressed with the average price of things there.  The same 1911 I picked up a few days ago from the Armory was at another table for $80 more.

Better than sitting at home on a rainy day though.

I think I'll go burn up that Georgia Arms ammo tomorrow at Pungo.  Hopefully it won't be crowded since it's cold.

I left here at about 0700 and got to the show shortly after 0930. The line was absolutely incredible. I left between 1030 and 1100, must have missed you in the crowd Colonel.

It was a good social outing for me. I got to see three old shipmates.

No buys, but then again I forgot the plastic. Luckily I didn't see anything I HAD to have. I did contemplate the 12ga Saiga Dark Sun had. I might get around to that sooner rather than later.

I was there!!. I got there around 1100 and left around 1300. The damn line was out of control but it move pretty quickly thow. There where alot of geat things there, if I wouldn't of bought the remi 870 tactical magnum yesterday I would of bought some type of gun there but I got a AK mag clip, a 3 point sling for $8 and a side saddle.....I was mad there where no damn 7.62x39ammo and I didnt see a KR98.

I should be there tomarrow.

Man, it was a mass of humanity to be sure.  I got there around 1130 and the line wasn't too bad when I got in it, but the rush was right behind me and quickly extended the line.  I think the fact that the craft show was there, and poor weather on a three day weekend combined to have a lot of folks decide to pop in.  The aisles in that place are just too small for that kind of traffic.

I didn't see any great deals, nor anything I needed.  Still, I saw people buying stuff.  Probably the same number of people buying things, just alot more lookers along for the ride.  I think it was a pretty good show frankly.

I was there yesterday, lots of people, pricey ammo.

No 762x39

Quantico has 12$ AR mags and cheap Glock Mags, picked up a few of those.

Also I picked up a flash hider for my AK.

Go to Wal-Mart and save money on ammo.

It reminded me of that prison scene in the Heath Ledger movie "The Four Feathers" where he is in a giant prison with a huge mass of humanity moving in a slow circle...

I haven't seen that, but "prison scene" and "Heath Ledger movie" sounds a little disconcerting to me, in a brokeback kinda way.

Did anybody see the S&W AR15??  Serial number 000379.  I think they were asking $1050 or 1100 for it.  Nice.

It was interesting that Dark Sun was carrying Saiga's at prices well below the typical internet prices. The .308 with 21.8" barrel looked interesting for $310.

It was a sea of humanity Saturday through. It seemed some aisles were much narrower than others.

That's who it was.  I wish I had taken a few minutes and really looked at it.
