six on the ground from a couple days ago.  It's snowing steady now and we are expecting 6-10, winter advisory.

its snowing, but nothing is sticking here in Orange...it did earlier in the day, but it got warmer and what we had melted...still snowing though...

the national weather service says we should only get 1-3 inches by mid afternoon, which I read as 3 pm...the heavy stuff wont start until later this evening and tonight...

A bit north of winchester, its been snowing since 6:00am or so, didn't start sticking till around noon, probably half an inch in the grass right now but still coming down hard.

Haymarket area is starting to bond; it was snowing around 8:30am and turned to rain.

i havent been able to go out on 15 tonight...my truck is in the shop for the last week and I am driving a rental taurus...just gonna stay at home...

I went out around noon today and it was fine, but of course that was before it all started....we got a lot of snow really fast here...and it is still coming down...looking at the radar though it should end soon

manassas got a good 8" and there are still some flurries floating down.  wegmans in fairfax got about that much.  i only know because i work there at night.  but have no fear the store is open for all you assholes who want to mess up the place.  damn i hate customers.  but hey without them i have no job right--bastards.

total here looks to be 11-13 inches.  hoverring around a foot I guess.  Loads of fun for the kids today.  Good weather, great sledding and throwing snow.  Should be gone in a day or two.

14" here in Nova.  Running on my generator since there are trees all down, one right outside our driveway.  I was plowing snow on our driveway and heard crack.  Looked back 20' and the power lines were shaking.  About 20 yards away a huge pine tree cracked in half and is now blocking 1/2 the road.  (This was at 9am)  

I just checked 20 minutes ago and the tree is still on the lines and still blocking the road.  Someone is gonna get killed there tonight.  Right over a hill.
