reflecting in the sky at about 10 o'clock in the sw (?). started seeing it around 5PM, still showing at 5:35.

just thought it was neato and I'd share.

Quite possible. I thought venus at first, but it was too early in the afternoon for that. IMHO anyway.

Coult it possibly be Mercury?

I got this for my Bday.

I set it to search mercury out and it aligned into that general area ( overcast, so no seeing)

liking the telescope though. I can't wait for a clear night.

Looking at it at 9.7 and 26 MM it looks like an eclipse. finger nail shaped?
