Well sort of, kinda, well one is .223 it is the closest rifle to the camera.

Figured a tweaked up .308 needs a baby brother in .223 so I did the dirty deed.

Rear rifle has a Leupold VX III 6.5-20x40mm Long Range with target knobs and a 6" sun shade on a .308 with Mk4 rings and a 20MOA base.

Front scope on the 223 is a Hakko 8-32x50 Illuminated MilDot Reticle with a set of Warne tactical rings on a PRI custom 8" base.

Which one?

The .308 or the .223?

I have around 800.00 in the .308 including rings, base and scope to include the target knobs and a tweak on the glass from PR. The 6" sun shade alone is 28.00 when you can find them in Matt so I did a little WESCOG paint job on it.

.223 with the works for rings, mount and scope is around 700.00

None of that is even part of the rifle cost.

I have a .220-swift thats in desperate need of some sort of optic.  It needs mounts rings and glass.  Im very happy with my Vari-XIII tactical on my FN SPR.  Something tells me that I need more than 3.5-10x mag for a varmit gun.

To each his or her own on optics I say, some low set powered scopes are excellent and Variables have a place on rifles as well.

Depends on what you want.

Then those must be maternal twins and not paternal twins

Nice looking setup, we'll have to take out my Sako when I get back.

7mm RemMag.  It isn't a "sniper" rifle but it is accurate!  Like all of my other firearms, it will outshoot me!
